My Name is Jesse Ivan and I am a freelance nature photographer. I grew up in the Catskill Mountains of New York and I am currently living in Western North Carolina. I grew up hunting, fishing, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, and hiking in the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains. My interest in photography began at the age of 16 when I took a class in high school on black and white photography. Since then I have graduated to digital photography. My main passion is photographing wildlife. I strive to develop a relationship with my subjects and reflect that relationship in the images I capture. All of the photos that I take are of 100% wild animals in 100% wild places.
